Externally, it serves to communicate Hitachi’s determination and devotion to reform. Thus an advertising campaign that reflected this spirit was essential.

Hitachi’s launch of the 2008 “Hello, Tomorrow” advertising campaign went into effect with television and print, taking the Hitachi brand in a new direction. It showed technology delivers not only wonderful functional benefits, but also provides joyful emotional benefits, too. In every respect, the campaign reflected the superior quality of Hitachi products. With “Hello, Tomorrow” consumers saw a new dimension to Hitachi home appliances—the source of smiles that accumulate one after another, inspiring a bright and fresh lifestyle.
